**Case T2**

Test Case T2 is a further step towards the full set of coupled equations. It is limited to the heat transfer equation solely with conduction and phase change.

This test case is still under discussion. The system would consists of a 1D vertical soil column with heterogeneous porous medium properties and geothermal flux. A step temperature could be imposed for a column initially in balance with geothermal flux. We could deal with a fully saturated column or wait from later stages of the Benchmark dealing with a non saturated medium and for instance Richards equations.
