Windows 10 notes

- Older versions (versions <= 2.1.0) Very old stuff, that most probably nobody will need
Thunderbird and Firefox notes
TB and FF may start behaving strangely if their settings or extensions are corrupted. In that case:
- Exit and then restart in Safe Mode: hold the
Shiftkey while double-clicking on the TB/FF icon - More debugging information is available in the TB page below

VirtualBox notes
VirtualBox is still an excellent product! But if your goal is to have a tight integration between Windows and Linux on the same machine, officially supported by Microsoft, you should have a look at the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) and Ubuntu section
VB host: the machine and operating system where the VB program is running.
VB guest: the operating system running inside VB.
Windows 7 notes
Microsoft has stopped the Windows 7 support in January 2020. You should now be using Windows 10 and reading the Windows 10 notes
- Installing Windows 7 (basic standard LSCE installation)
- Configuring Windows 7 (useful Windows 7 settings to work more efficiently)
